Trading journal

The trading journal
you actually reopen.

If you log trades and never review them, nothing changes. A Review Session is five minutes: one unreviewed trade at a time, then what it did to your P&L.

Product tour

Five minutes after the close, not an evening in a spreadsheet.

Every screen below is the real product. Start with the review — the rest of the journal exists to make that five minutes worth having.

Mark it reviewed. Next one loads.

One unreviewed trade at a time — chart, tags, the note you left yourself. Mark it reviewed and the next one slides in. When the queue empties, the session closes itself.

What traders say

Rated by the people who reopen it.

Small numbers, honestly reported. Every rating below comes from the App Store and Google Play.

I can log trades right after closing them, even on my phone. It syncs perfectly with my desktop. Super convenient!!

Before this app, I was all over the place. Now I can track emotions, setups, and results in one place. My consistency improved massively.

I didn't want something bloated with features. This app gives me everything I need – trade logs, tags, and performance summaries – all beautifully designed!

I've tried Excel sheets and Notion templates, but nothing compares to the automation here. My journaling time dropped from 30 minutes to under 5.

Brokers & platforms

Your broker is almost certainly on the list.

Auto-sync from cTrader, Alpaca, Tradovate and MT4/MT5 accounts — or upload a CSV from 450+ brokers and platforms.

iOS & Android

Log it before you leave the desk.

Most journals make you wait until you're back at a computer — by then the reason you took the trade is gone. Log it on the phone, review it anywhere, and the desktop already has it.

Before you sign up

The questions that actually stop people.

Is it actually free?

Yes, and with no time limit or card. The free plan covers manual logging, Review Sessions, the dashboard and a monthly allowance of AI Chat. Broker sync, extra accounts and more AI are what you pay for — see pricing.

Do I have to type in every trade?

No. Upload a CSV, or connect a supported broker and trades arrive on a schedule. Manual entry stays for the days you want to sit with a fill and write down why you took it.

Will it work with my broker?

Auto-sync covers cTrader, Alpaca, Tradovate and MT4/MT5 accounts. Everything else imports by CSV, and the supported list is public — check it before you sign up.

What does AI Chat actually see?

Only your journal. Answers are computed from your own trades and the reply shows which trades it used, so you can check the arithmetic instead of trusting it.

I've abandoned three journals already. Why would this one stick?

Because the habit isn't logging, it's the review — and the review is five minutes. A session hands you one unreviewed trade at a time and closes itself when the queue is empty.

The basics

What is a trading journal?

A trading journal is a record of every trade you take — entry, exit, size, setup, and the reason you took it — kept so you can review your decisions instead of only your balance. TradeReview is a free trading journal for stocks, options, futures, forex and crypto: import trades automatically from your broker or by CSV, tag them by strategy, and run a Review Session that walks you through each unreviewed trade in turn.

The point isn't the logging. It's that a written record turns a hunch — "I think I overtrade on Fridays" — into something you can check in thirty seconds, and then stop doing. Traders who review consistently find their losing setups faster, which is the cheapest edge available to anyone.

TradeReview works in the browser and as native iOS and Android apps, so a trade logged on the phone is already on the desktop. The free plan has no time limit and needs no card.

Your last session is still worth reviewing.

Create the account, import last week, and run one Review Session. If it doesn't tell you something you didn't know, you've lost five minutes.
