WHAT ARE COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar browser storage such as localStorage and sessionStorage for authentication and preferences.
First-party technologies are set by TradeReview. Third-party technologies are set by service providers such as Google Analytics and PostHog.
SCOPE: MARKETING SITE VS. WEB APP
- Marketing website (tradereview.app): uses essential local storage for theme preference, plus first-party affiliate cookies when you arrive through a partner link.
- Web application (tradereview.app/web): uses essential authentication storage, the same affiliate cookies (shared across tradereview.app), and, with your consent, analytics cookies.
HOW CAN YOU CONTROL COOKIES?
When you first visit our marketing website, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage preferences by category. You can reopen it anytime via Cookie preferences in the website footer.
When you log in to the web app, agreeing to our Privacy Policy (or Terms of Use on iOS) by checking the login box or opening those policy links also records your cookie preferences for the app on this device.
You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the website footer, by clearing site data for tradereview.app in your browser, or by contacting us at [email protected].
