Broker sync rebuilt, eToro, and import from any broker
Everything from 1.7.4 to 2.0.0. The theme: getting trades in without guesswork — connect a broker in three steps and see exactly what each sync added, or upload a CSV from any broker and undo it if something looks wrong.
Broker sync, rebuilt
Connected brokers has a new home on desktop, phones and tablets. Adding a broker is now three steps — choose, connect, first sync — and the first sync tells you what it's doing while you wait, then shows what it brought in. Broker sync is on Pro; Free and Basic see what it does and how to turn it on.
Sync history
Every sync is listed with its totals. Click a row to see the trades it added or updated, and open any of them straight from there — so you never have to wonder whether last night's trades made it in.
Clear errors and quick reconnect
When a connection breaks, the account says why — login rejected, server not found, broker not responding, rate limited — with a Fix button next to it. Reconnecting keeps your saved login, and you can update a password in a dialog without starting over (MT5 asks for the investor password).
eToro
Connect eToro accounts with eToro's own sign-in, no password sharing. Pick Live or Demo when you connect.
Import from any broker
Upload a CSV from any broker, match its columns to TradeReview's fields, preview the trades and save the format for next time. Saved formats have their own page where you can edit them, skipped rows can be downloaded so you see what didn't come in, and buy/sell files can bring their Profit column along.
Import history with undo
Every import is listed with what it did. Undo any import for 30 days — it removes the trades that import added and the fills it added to trades you already had, while those trades themselves stay. Large files show progress and row counts while they load, and the app asks before you leave an import that's still running.
Mark as reviewed, and a clearer calendar
Every trade now has an explicit Mark as reviewed button under its status. The calendar gets a legend for rule-break days and hides the month delta when there's nothing to compare.
Dictate your notes
Use the microphone button in the notes editor to dictate trade notes and journal entries, in browsers that support speech recognition such as Chrome.
Insights that read at a glance
Win/loss bars in insights are coloured by what they mean, and Discipline has its own card. New users start on sample data with a short dashboard tour, which steps aside as soon as their first real trade, import or broker sync arrives.
Update prompts and iPhone fixes
The app now tells you when a new version is in the App Store or Google Play. On iPhone, the tab bar comes back after switching accounts and the notes editor no longer jumps the page while you type. The import step bar stays pinned to the bottom on phones.
Fixes in this release
Notebook no longer loses your last edit or a save that failed; opening a trade no longer triggers an autosave; profit stays green in light mode; live updates reconnect after you log out and back in; AI Chat shows your remaining message balance more clearly; desktop pages fit the window height; and the option-spread table no longer squashes the side menu.
